History

The Solomon Group, made its foray into clean energy in 2021 after participating in a multitude of conversations with senior staff of local energy companies who were frustrated with the slow pace of consumption and adoption of clean energy solutions by historically disadvantaged communities. Traditional macro-targeting communications strategies such as the use of broadcast media and “one-size-fits-all” online posts were failing to achieve penetration in these communities. Further, as funding and programming for Clean Energy solutions commenced, existing workforces were proving to be insufficient for the technical-expertise demands required within this burgeoning industry. Visionaries within these companies saw that the need to develop a clean energy workforce also presented an opportunity to meet Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals, however the same core problem existed. There was a shortfall of traditional marketing agencies with the knowhow and bonafides to effectively engage these historically disadvantaged communities. SG’s foray into clean energy is a direct response to unmet business requirements of its Energy Company clients which include: 

  • conversion of households, rental units and small business to a clean energy infrastructure within historically disadvantaged communities, and

  • building a workforce that is representative of the people of this state, which includes racial, ethnic, gender and language-proficiency concerns among others.

SG does not only seek to enable diverse communities to benefit from clean energy solutions and occupational opportunities, it also seeks to be a place where individuals from historically disadvantaged communities can access the Clean Energy Industry as skilled professionals and vendors supporting SG’s projects.

Aaron Wright

Meet Mr. Wright, the visionary Chief Executive Officer at the helm of The Solomon Group, where he harnesses the power of big data and strategic communication to redefine success. With a track record that spans multiple sectors including banking and finance, national security, international development, entertainment, and hospitality, Mr. Wright's services are in high demand.

In the heart of Boston, Mr. Wright is deeply committed to the economic and professional growth of the African American community. He serves as a mentor and trainer, empowering undergraduates and small business owners with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in a competitive landscape.

Mr. Wright's journey into strategic communications began in 2011, when he embarked on a consulting arrangement with an esteemed Inc Magazine 500/5000 company specializing in quantitative research and strategic communications. Mr. Wright introducing innovative business intelligence tools that supported informed decision-making in securities trading and corporate investments. Furthermore, he seamlessly integrated quantitative and qualitative research to transform raw data into actionable insights, crafting evidence-based messaging campaigns that influenced and persuaded customers and target audiences alike. His contributions extended to financial research, national security, and international development operations, solidifying his reputation as a strategic communications luminary.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and innovation, Mr. Wright embarked on advanced training in database management and coding between 2014 and 2018. This expanded his capabilities, enabling him to offer comprehensive data collection, indexing, and analysis services to his esteemed clientele. With multiple certifications from renowned institutions such as Georgetown University, George Washington University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Wright has become a true expert in data science, predictive modeling, visualization, and full-stack web development.

Armed with these exceptional skills, Mr. Wright established The Solomon Group, an MBE-certified company recognized by both the City of Boston and the State of Massachusetts. Under his guidance, The Solomon Group thrives as a beacon of excellence, transforming the landscape of strategic communications and data-driven decision-making.
